Black Jaguar is consistently our best selling dark roast. We use a very high-quality, shade-grown green bean from Bolivia that we roast slightly darker than a typical "french-style" roast. We use a slow-roast technique that extends the roast timing but we're careful not to "bake" the coffee which would flatten the flavour profile. This is how we achieve a sweet, dark coffee that is not bitter but has a great full-bodied taste.

    This is a deep, rich, smooth coffee A great dark roast with no bitterness. I like it black or in a latte or cappuccino

    First cup this morning. This is a lovely dark roast which is surprisingly mellow. Love that the beans are deep black and glossy, always indicates a premium brand.

    This coffee is so special I only drink it on weekends. Opening the bag, it's easy to see those amazing oils coating each bean The smell is heavenly. If you like a good dark roast coffee jolt, this one is a keeper.

    Dark and rich, great that its local. Beans are a bit oily and tend to him up our auto grinder, but it's easily cleared. Tried other, drier beans but they just don't taste as good so it's a small concession.
